Aaron Dones, sole owner and founder of Advanced Carrier Technologies, received his BA from Michigan State University in 1987, with a major in Industrial Design and a minor in Computer Science–and has been working in the shipping and logistics industry ever since. Aaron had a goal of working in a field that combined his drive to work with technology, his entrepreneurial interests and a desire to do something with real world implications. Advanced Carrier Technologies is a successful business built on these goals.
In addition to being a very driven business owner, Aaron is a family man who credits his upbringing with instilling in him the drive to be successful: “Success only happens if you make it happen–The harder I work, the luckier I get.” When he is not talking with clients, working at the office or visiting client sites, Aaron can usually be found on a boat or a set of water skis.
